- If you shave, the day of the shoot is ideal. If you tend to get razor bumps the day before will be fine. If you wax, a few days before is ideal to eliminate the chance of rashes or redness.
- Come with unwashed, dry but not greasy hair and clean, moisturized skin.
- Wear loose clothing and undergarments to the shoot so you don't have indentions or red marks when you take them off. This includes hair ties on the wrist.
- If you spray tan please don't do so the week leading to the shoot. It can show up orange on camera. If you tan in a tanning bed be extra careful not to burn and not to get tan lines. Also pay attention to the area under your butt cheeks as those tend to stay untanned and create white stripes.
- Moisturize your whole body so your skin stays soft and smooth. I will also have lotion on hand at the studio if needed.
- Its best not try any new beauty products or regimens within the week of the shoot in case of an allergy or adverse reaction.
- I highly recommend using Lumify eyedrops before the shoot. They remove all redness from the whites of your eyes really making your eyes pop.
- Drink LOTS of water in the week leading up to the shoot. This will make for plump, glowing skin.
-Stretch, stretch, stretch the day before and day of shoot. You will be in all kinds of crazy positions and will be sore and less able to pose properly if you do not stretch.
-Make sure fingernails and toenails and clean and shaped. If wearing polish red/neutral colors are best. Make sure polish is not chipped.
-Make sure you do not have a watch tan line.
